Works well, and it doesnt hurt that its nice to look at also, comfortable in the hand. the programmable feature is a good one for old farts who cant remember things.

Checking tire pressure is important and the Accutire MS-4350B Programmable Digital Tire Gauge is a good way to check pressure periodically. If you don't act quickly, the panel will go blank. If it would last at least ten seconds, it would make a big difference. Sometimes, I cannot achieve the seal, never hear the beep, and end up deflating some air from my tires in the process as I continue to try without any luck. The reason I say this is a novelty is because it serves as nothing more than a reference point.
On my minivan, the stems are shorter and are somewhat recessed between the grooves in the wheels. This makes it more difficult to establish a connection and get an accurate reading. To use this gauge, all you need to do is press the tip of the gauge into the stem and then wait for the sound of a beep. Few people bother to check their tire pressure on a routine basis, but the Accutire MS-4350B Programmable Digital Tire Gauge strives to make this task as simple and painless as possible. I don't know why the manufacturer made it this way. The programmable buttons for front and rear tire pressure are basically a novelty item with this gauge.
The preset amounts are only there for your reference. The display numbers are large and incremented in 0.5 psi. Also, there is only a single set of preset numbers so if you have multiple vehicles, you will have to decide which one to set. The gauge won't warn you if your pressure is too high or too low. It offers an easy to read, blue LCD readout and a small light to help check pressure in dark spaces. One other possible issue with this gauge is that the pressure readout doesn't stay on the screen for very long.
This tire gauge offers digital accuracy, placing it a notch above most mechanical pressure gauges. If you do not hear a beep, then you do not have a sealed connection and you cannot rely on the accuracy of the psi readout. Once the beep has sounded, the pressure is displayed and you have only a matter of seconds to remove the gauge and read the pressure. Just a quick press lets you know if your tire pressure needs to be adjusted, leading to better gas mileage for your vehicle and longer- lasting tires. You may have problems making a connection if your tire stems are recessed in any way, but other than that, you should have no trouble using this Accutire gauge. Checking tire pressure should be a routine task, to ensure proper inflation, improve tire life, add extra miles per gallon, etc.
This would seem simple enough and it generally is, but I have had a few issues with this. They allow you to set a target psi level for the front and back tires, and this could be helpful in some instances.
How can I work it out if Amazon NEVER CONTACTS ME.Accutire MS-4350B Programmable Digital Tire Gauge It has NEVER ARRIVED. After debating whether I should return it because the gauge itself seemed to work OK, I sent it back about December 15. I attempted to share this information with Amazon but was never contacted by Amazon with respect to my inquiry. I sent off for the tire gauge on Amazon at the end of November, 2009. It came reasonably promptly, but when I fired it up, the little light which is used to illuminate the valve stem did not work. How can one be happy if it NEVER ARRIVED.
My only complaint is that it can be hard forming a good seal with the valve stem. The LED light is convenient and works well when its dark out. I hope it lasts. The unit feels pretty sturdy in your hand. The rubber grip is comfortable and the screen is legible. Overall good product though.
everybody checks the tires once a week. i got 5 of these, to give as presents and to keep one, 4 of them stopped working after a couple of months (under light use. at most)good idea, bad quality
